Boba 30,000

My blog just reached 30,000 hits! that's awesome, thanks everyone you're all equally as awesome. So to celebrate I drew this

My take on one of my favorite characters ever, Boba Fett. I really enjoyed painting this one even though it took forever and I developed an eye twitch from staring at a computer screen. Worth it!

Zombie Wants a Soda

This poor guy has been buried underground for years and all he wants is a sip of soda but the little fat kid just wont share.

Zombie walk from Adam Kavanagh on Vimeo.

I was inspired to do this little animation after I saw ParaNorman.

Update

I haven't had a lot of time lately to work on personal stuff, which is fine by me because I'm currently story boarding and colour boarding on this amazing project in Giant Creative.

Promotional artwork done by the extremely talented Gavin Fullerton, hes one to watch.

You can read more about the project here:

Prometheus And Other Doodles

This is a collection of Doodles I've done over the last month or two and never got around to posting them.

First off these are few drawings I did for my new fancy business cards (almost too fancy to give to people) Thanks to Barry Keegan for getting them printed for me.

Next is another birthday Card. I don't think I'd trust a fish to bake a cake.

A couple of profile pictures for Gareth Lee (who runs The Irish School of Animation at BCFE) and Kev Ryan, the two of them looking sharp as always.

Now on to Prometheus. I drew these by memory (very hungover memory) the day after I saw the movie so they are pretty much 100% true to the film. Spoiler Alert if you haven't watched it.
I really should of posted these when it was a bit more topical, who wants to hear about Prometheus now that Batman is out? Oh well enjoy.

Finally I leave you with the all mighty Cosmic Elk

Yeah I don't have much to say about that one.

Monster On a Cliff

The girl was bugging me, so I drew a big furry monster instead. This is pretty much how it will look, just need to refine the monster and a few other places.

Big Fat Cat: Part 3

Here he is, fully rendered. I got a bit tired so I didn't do a background. I might add one later.

Big Fat Cat: Part 2

Thats the main colour the lighting done. Next I'll add in some darker shadows and some more light sources.

Big Fat Cat

Since my printer/scanner stopped working awhile ago I've been trying to draw straight into photoshop, so that way I don't need the scanner but drawing in photoshop or even sketchbook pro doesn't hold a pencil compare to.. erm.. holding a pencil. Everything i drew in photoshop was a fail and it eventually just got to frustrating. So I went back to pencil and paper and just took a photo of it instead, the quality isn't great but that wont matter when I have it rendered because none of the line work will be visible.

I want to hug him but he would probably maul me.
